Southern Comfort Homes is a family owned home-building company, operated by owners Tim and Karey Aman. Together, Tim and Karey have over 20 years of diverse experience in the home-building industry.
Tim’s educational background consists of accounting and finance, and his professional hands-on experience includes positions such as land development, cost accountant, purchasing director, budgeting coordinator, and project manager / superintendent. Tim has worked with Fortune-500 companies as well as privately-owned custom home builders. He has built over 50 homes from start to finish ranging in size from 1,600 square feet to over 4,000 square feet, including some multi-family projects. He has also obtained his Realtor licenses in the State of Arizona and Oklahoma. (Both licenses are inactive at this time)
Karey’s educational background is in the field of customer service and business administration. Her professional hands-on experience includes construction scheduling, warranty and customer service, design, all aspects of administration and various other technical and communication related positions. Karey has worked with large corporate home-building companies and is familiar with the processes and procedures it takes to keep things moving.
Together, Tim and Karey have literally held every position in home-building. They have taken the best practices that they experienced, and made them even better.
There are no internal sales personnel or field superintendents at Southern Comfort Homes, which means no bad handoff for you. Tim handles all of the construction related functions personally, and Karey provides unparalleled communication from start to finish.
